How much do you cost?
Our price is set on a number of different factors. These include: amount of equipment, set length, travel time. We can provide a quote for you, if you can fill us in on as many details as possible.
How do I book you?
You can contact us directly through our website. Failing that you can email splinterstudios@live.com
How long will you play for?
That is up to you. We can do anything from 30 minutes to 2 hours, depending on what you like.
Why are you called ThunderChunky?
The band started off as a bit of fun, so we went for the most ridiculous name we could think of. We think it suits us. If you’d rather us use a different name for a corporate event, we can arrange this.
How far would you travel?
As far as you need us. We all have valid passports, so can even perform internationally if required.
Do you do requests?
We will always try to learn any requests made prior to the event. This may incur a fee, if it requires the band to learn it especially. Some songs just aren’t possible for our set up, but we will let you know well in advance.
How much time and space do you need to perform?
We are super flexible and very professional in setting up for any event. As long as we’ve got somewhere dry and enough power, we can make any size space work for us. We always allow for 2 hours to set up fully, but we appreciate that is not always an option. If we have any issues, this can be discussed when booking the band.
Can we see the band live before we book?
Of course. You are more than welcome to attend any of our non-private events. Just let us know and we can advise you on when and where we are playing. We also have a lot of footage of us performing that we can send you, if you can’t make a show.
Do you provide replacement socks after ours have been rocked off?
We’re afraid not, just plug in your air guitars and rock along to some of the greatest songs ever written.
